Beyond: Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

2.1 Data that you enter

• Email address (to identify the account within the device).

• Passwords (account and/or video): are not saved in plain text , they are saved as fingerprints (hashes).

• Recovery key : displayed for you to save; the App only saves a hash of that key.

2.2 Content you create

• Videos recorded in the App.

• Video metadata : recipient name, unlock date, video user, etc.

2.3 Technical data

• Beyond does not require creating profiles, nor does it collect analytics or advertising data by default.

• Functionality may depend on system services (Android/iOS) for: camera, storage, file sharing, printing/PDF and biometric authentication/PIN.

• The videos and associated data are saved to your device’s local storage .

• Beyond does not store your videos on its own servers and does not automatically sync with the cloud.

Depending on what you use, the App may request:

• Camera and microphone (for recording videos).

• Storage/files (for exporting/importing copies or messages).

• Device Biometrics/PIN (for sensitive actions; verification is performed by the operating system, Beyond does not receive your PIN).

If you do not grant permission, certain features may not be available.

The app allows you to:

• Export a message (to deliver/import it on another mobile).

• Export a full copy (backup) for device change.

These files can contain data and content (videos). When you share a file, you choose the channel (WhatsApp, email, etc.) and that platform may have its own privacy policy .

The app can open an informational/legal PDF for the user to fill out. This document is not automatically sent to anyone; it depends on your usage.

• Service execution : for the App to work (save accounts, videos, unlocks).

• Consent : when you grant device permissions or when you share/export files.

The data is stored on your device until you delete it (or uninstall the app).
When you uninstall, the operating system may delete the local data associated with the app.

• Passwords and keys are stored as hashes (not in text).

• Device authentication (PIN/biometrics) may be required for sensitive actions.

• Even so, no system is infallible: ultimate security also depends on locking and using the device responsibly.

Beyond is not specifically aimed at minors. If you are a guardian and a minor uses the app, you are responsible for its use.

If the regulations apply to you (for example, EU/Spain), you can request information or exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) by writing to: [email protected] .
As most of your data is stored only on your device, many actions are managed directly from the app (deleting videos, deleting your account, etc.).

Beyond allows:

• Record video messages.

• Block them until a date.

• Protect them with a username/password.

• Export and import messages and copies (backup).

• Generate/display a recovery key to reset password.

• The messages are saved on your device .

• You are responsible for:

  • Protect your mobile (PIN/biometrics).

  • Save your recovery key outside of your mobile device.

  • Manage copies/exports carefully.

Beyond cannot verify deaths or perform automatic deliveries.
If you use the «document for notary/attorney/executor» system, you are responsible for:

• The truthfulness and legal validity of what you sign/deliver.

• Comply with inheritance, privacy and consent regulations.

• Appoint suitable people/professionals.

You are responsible for the content you record, share, or submit, including:

• Third-party image/voice rights.

• Intellectual property.

Do not use the app to:

• Illegal activities.

• Threats, harassment, or hate.

• Distributing content without consent.

By exporting and sharing files, you agree that:

• The channels you use (WhatsApp, email, etc.) have their own policies.

• You may be sending personal data and videos.

• You should only share them with authorized recipients.

If you lose your password and recovery key, it may be impossible to regain access to that account.
The app is designed this way for security.

The app may change or be updated. We try to maintain compatibility, but we cannot guarantee it.

• Perfect working on all devices.

• Recovery after system failures, deletions, or device damage.

Beyond can be used in emotional or sensitive contexts. The App:

• It does not replace legal, medical or professional advice.

• It does not guarantee future deliveries on its own.

• It is not responsible for losses resulting from poor safekeeping of keys or improper sharing.

To the extent permitted by law, use is at your own risk.

The App, its trademark, design, and code are protected.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or decompile the App unless expressly permitted by law.

We may update these terms. The «Last Updated» date will indicate changes. We will post the current version at https://bitdigitalstudio.com/beyond/ 

Applicable law: Spain.
Jurisdiction: competent courts of Spain (or those applicable according to regulations).
